The Feedback Loop: Screenings and Lectures. Text

2018

The Munch Museum

The Feedback Loop: Screenings and Lecture, programmed by the artist, was the third iteration of The Feedback Loop project running throughout 2018, with Munchmuseet on the Move. The project also included a site-specific screen intervention at Oslo Central Train Station, and a solo exhibition with guests at Munchmuseet on the Move – Kunsthall Oslo. The Feedback Loop aimed to explore how moving images, screens and screen technologies take part in the production of collective memories, using ideological material from 1920s and 30s cinema and political history as a starting point.
